It's everything everyone says it is. Service? Cutter will give you a taste.Atmosphere? The only atmosphere that matters in a place like this is the company you bring to share this incredible experience with.Price? Cash or credit, it's impossible not to tip.Not hungry? Just grab a dog with kraut and your mouth will water no matter how not hungry you thought you were.I was lucky enough to enter with no wait, but if you see a line, get in it fast.

The Katz's Delicatessen I knew before was way better. The pastrami was more leaner and tasted better. Today the pastrami is more fatty and more expensive than it was then, so the place seems overrated now. Lines are too long to wait on for a sandwich but the times I do get to enjoy it, it's just simply not worth the 26$ a sandwich and the long wait. Nevertheless it's still a good Kosher deli that's been around for years and years.

The most sumptuous sandwich I've ever had. Beef pastrami on rye with mustard. $25 after tax. A bit steep but worth every penny. Service was quick and the cutter gave a generous taste of the pastrami when I ordered. Pickles that came with the sandwich totally complemented the rich taste of the pastrami. Went later at night after 8 and avoided the crowd.
